Hi, I’m Jo.
I'm a proud mother of five and a doting grandmother to one. For the last 3 decades I have thrived in senior management roles within the construction industry; my days began at the crack of dawn, catching the 5:30am train into the bustling City of London to join the daily grind.
After facing redundancy twice in five years, I decided it was time for a change; taking a leap of faith, I followed my heart and started my own business. Inspired by my experience of weddings and festivals, I noticed a gap in the market for 'Adult Style Picnics', and just like that, The Grazeful Girls was born, turning my vision into a flourishing enterprise.
What makes it even more special is that my daughter has joined me in this venture. As a horse-loving, mother-daughter duo, we combine our unique talents and shared passion to create memorable picnic experiences for adults from our beloved horse trailer. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm excited to see where The Grazeful Girls will take us next.
Meet Nibbles
Nibbles started life out as a Equi-Trek horse trailer 22 years ago before starting her glamourous make-over. After many adventures transporting our two horses, Floyd and Cally, around Essex we can honestly say she was a much-loved trailer. As time moved on and with my daughter growing up fast and us no longer having the horses, we had the perfect idea for what to use the trailer for next! Nibbles’ transformation began - she gave us a few surprises along the way but it’s true what they say, “They don't make them like they used to”.
The Boring Stuff
Whilst you concentrate on creating and enjoying the perfect occasion, you can rest assured that we have all the boring, but very necessary stuff in place - Public, Employers & Product Liability, Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety as well as a Food Standard Rating 5 from the local Council – all of this is in place to keep you and your event protected.
